Aside from finding a place to live, finding a job will be one of your most important tasks once you settle in your new community. There are many possibilities for a rewarding career in the Saint John Region, and there are supports available to help you find the right job for you.

When searching for employment, be sure to look online—there are a number of job search websites that you can use. There are also organizations that provide pre-employment assistance, including CV/resume-writing and job-searching.

There are a number of occupations in New Brunswick that are regulated. If you would like to work in a regulated occupation, you are required to be certified or licensed by the regulatory authority for that occupation. One of the first steps in becoming certified or licensed in New Brunswick is to obtain equivalency for the qualifications you have earned outside of Canada.
